W.I.P. - Abandoned Kitchen [COMPLETED]
Hey there,
I'm back, after a massive game marathon. Assassin's Creed from 1 to Unity, Watch Dogs and GTA V to name a few, and more on the queue :)) I've been busy for a couple of past few years, and couldn't play any of them, also my PC was very old to even begin with. Recently bought an excellent rig and finally dedicated some time to catch on! It was a very fun experience :D
To change the mood decided to work on a new project based on the following photograph:
As usual, I'm gonna change a lot of things.
Here's the first render:

WIP - The Journey Challenge [POSTPONED]
Hey Everyone,
Really excited to join Artstasion's 'The Journey' challenge.
You can follow my progress at my Artstations contest page as well.
------------------------------------------------------------------
'No one ever returned! ' said his grandfather, telling the story about it!
Packed and hit the road few months ago.
On his way to find out whether the legends are true or not.
A big gamble!
If what his grandfather told him was true, he probably not gonna survive to tell what he faced there!
But he's prepared himself from the day he heard the story and willing to risk it all...
It was getting dark and darker every second...
He stopped, picked up a piece of wood, and lit it up.
It was when he was crossing a damp swamp that his eyes hit the castle for the first time.
It wasn't so far away anymore and it looked creepy and terrifying as he expected.
Dark, tall walls, towers reaching for the sky...
There is no turning back.
Just have to cross the forest ahead...

Working Late - 2015
This is started as a challenge that one of my friends gave me in late 2013, but after a while it became something more...! :)
The main idea was to create a desk shot, specially a busy desk shot. I actually want you to look everywhere and find some familiar objects which you may also find on your desk [if you have a busy desk].
Read more and see my progress here at my BLOG or here at CGSociety.

W.I.P. - Working Late [COMPLETED]
The "Working Late" project started as a challenge that one of my friends gave me in late 2013. I was working at Vishka Studio at the time and he asked me to model my desk!
You may ask why name it "Working Late"? It has a very simple answer, I was usually working late hours to do some extra work! Sometimes even after 9PM!!!
Anyway, here's the final render of first version:
and here's a shot of my desk after I finished the first version. You can see the rendered version as my background.

TUT - Composition Rules
There are many photography composition rules which can be applied to CGI, as well.
Here are few of them:
Simplicity
When you look at a scene with your naked eye, your brain quickly picks out subjects of interest. But the camera doesn’t discriminate – it captures everything in front of it, which can lead to a cluttered, messy picture with no clear focal point. What you need to do is choose your subject, then select a focal length or camera viewpoint that makes it the centre of attention in the frame. You can’t always keep other objects out of the picture, so try to keep them in the background or make them part of the story. Silhouettes, textures and patterns are all devices that work quite well in simple compositions.

TUT - Getting Rid of Watermarks and Unwanted Patterns
Hi,
We all have faced the situations when we are texturing a scene and needing a pattern, symbol, logo or something, but all we can find on the web is watermarked!
So, how do you get rid of them?!
You can always use your photo editing tool such as Photoshop and clean it up by erasing, sampling or even re-painting! That’s a paint in the a##! :) Although sometimes we have to that :(, there are some easy ways to get the results, FAST!
This is how I get rid of the watermarks and unwanted patterns:

Unearthly Challenge III - Sweet Track [UDK] - 2013
My entry for Unearthly Challenge III.
At first I wanted to create a hell-like environment for this challenge, BUT that was so boring, not so much challenging, and ...
So, I decided to change the whole perspective and try something more fun and unusual! at least for me! :)
STORY:
The main idea is a race game in a world made of different comestibles. This world consist of different regions and every region has its own theme/element. (e.g. Desserts Region, Drinks Region, Vegetables Region, etc.) Each region made of any sort of product or ingredients related to that regions element. (e.g. Drinks Region could have coffee/coffee powder/hot water/sugar/milk, etc.) To enter each region, the player must create a new vehicle suited for that region and must use that regions element(s). This is the "Sweet Track", one the tracks from Desserts Region, which mostly made of confectioneries.
Used software: 3DS Max, UVLayout, Photoshop, nDo, UDK
You can check the progress here at my Blog or at forums, 3DTotal.
Here's the LINK to my entry at www.Gameartisans.org
UPDATE:
You can download the UDK package from HERE . Just leave a comment, if you did :) and don't forget to mention me in your work :))
